The key assignment and performance customization processes via XPG PRIME software are intuitive and straightforward. Everything is visualized in real-time, so you can customize your gaming mouse exactly the way you want and easily test the results! Here’s a brief introduction to how to set up your XPG ALPHA gaming mouse!
Click “Key” from the menu to access the assignment options. There are 6 programmable buttons on the XPG ALPHA. To start, choose the specific button you want to modify.
There are sub-sections and a list of options for you to choose from. Click “Save” to complete the key assignment process.
Click “Performance” for more advanced settings. For example, you can customize Sensitivity, Angle, and/or Debounce time in this menu.
On the top of the mouse in the center, there’s a triangular button. One of its functions is changing the DPI from a list of defined “steps”.
Here in the Performance section, you can choose the DPI for each step (up to 6 steps at one time). You can customize the sensitivity level of each step, ranging from 100 to 16,000.
Click “Angle snap” to either Enable or Disable the function.
You can also set the polling rate of your mouse (up to 1000Hz).
Once complete, click the “Apply” button to save your profile settings.
The saved profile settings are stored in your mouse, so when you connect to another PC device, the mouse will retain the same saved lighting effects settings as customized on the original PC.
